Hi partners! Today
I will write about a postgraduate course that I would consider taking in the
future. The course I would consider taking in the future is “Master’s in soil
and water management”. I would like taking this course because the resource
soil and water in Chile has a problem, these resources are in danger. The
danger in these resources is due to a process denominated “Desertification”. The
desertification is, a process can occur by natural and anthropic phenomenon
that affects the IV and VII regions of this country. The desertification causes
a decrease in precipitation and erodes the soil, this very big problem because
affect the forest and ecosystem. This problem is a forest discipline, but the
course is imparted in the Faculty of Agronomy.
I would like to study in Chile,
specifically at the University of Chile, because this has a better plan of
study. I would like to study on a part-time course, to spend my time working as
a forester and perform as such. Another option is to study in the Faculty of Science
Forestry, called “Integrated water resource management in the face of climate
variability and change”. The two options of postgraduate are a very hard because
the courses have a lot of mathematics and physics.
